Norland Construction Limited recognise that our operations directly affect the natural and developed environment so in order to minimise adverse environmental impacts the Company has established and documented an Environmental Management System which is implemented, maintained and continually improved in accordance with the requirements of the European Standard BS EN ISO 14001:1996.

The Environmental Management System, which is integrated with the overall management system of the Company, will comply with current environmental legislation and regulations, with particular attention given to the prevention of pollution and nuisance.

We will set measurable environmental objectives and targets which will be periodically reviewed by the Company Management Committee to ensure that they remain relevant and effective, and will revise them when necessary.

The Company will ensure that adequate resources are available to meet the objectives of the Environmental Management System and will also establish effective arrangements to promote environmental awareness to our employees and ensure that they understand their individual responsibilities.

This Environmental Policy is made available to employees and other interested parties including members of the public.
